GTA 6 leaks have been all over everyone's timeline this past week. Cyberleek has been antagonizing Rockstar Games with numerous 2-minute videos showing off the gameplay.
In these leaks, we have seen a nudist colony, a nightclub, the police getaway system, and even some gunplay. It is unclear whether or not the leaker has access to the entire story. However, what we do know is that his build of the game is not the final one. Rockstar Games is still polishing its final build of GTA 6 ahead of its November 19 release.
Speaking of Rockstar Games, they have been keeping silent throughout most of this process. While they have been taking legal action, the company itself has avoided making any statements. That changed this morning, just one day before the upcoming GTA 6 Netflix showcase. As you can imagine, Rockstar Games is not pleased with the leaks.
GTA 6 Leaks Could Ruin The Surprise
Per Rockstar Games:
"We know that many of you have been waiting to hear from us regarding the events of the past week. It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time. We are very sorry that everything has taken as long as it has — from getting the game finished (nearly there!) to sharing more details and official gameplay, and providing the community with everything you want to know.
We are very excited for everyone to see the extended look tomorrow. It has taken longer than we wanted to get it ready, but as with everything we do, we know we need to exceed your expectations, and we are determined to deliver at the level you expect and deserve. While it is unfortunate that the intended game experience may now be impacted by some spoilers, we hope that everyone will wait a bit longer to experience the game for themselves on November 19."
Tomorrow's showcase has the potential to be one of Netflix's biggest live events ever. It goes down at 3 PM EST, and fans could not be more excited about what will get shown off.
