On the new HNHH livestream, Aron A. and Gabriel Bras Nevares discussed The Game, Kendrick Lamar, hip-hop media, and more.

HotNewHipHop went live on Monday to discuss a plethora of topics, including The Game's recent album, The Documentary III. It is a project in which the artist had some words for Kendrick Lamar, all while praising Drake.

This subsequently led to a discussion between Aron A. and Gabriel Bras Nevares about whether or not The Game is trying to bait Kendrick Lamar into a battle. There were also discussions about the album itself and whether or not this lives up to previous Game projects.

From there, Tyler, the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw became a point of conversation. The artist recently unveiled the lineup for his festival. Yet again, Tyler has shown that he is tapped into the young generation.

Elsewhere in the livestream, there was a conversation about DJ Akademiks' latest comments about hip-hop journalism. Ak seems to believe that unless you're doing investigative work, you cannot call yourself a journalist. He praised the likes of What's The Dirt and Trap Lore Ross, while calling out publications like this one. Ak's narrow view of journalism has put his own work under intense scrutiny.

The livestream ended with a conversation about Dr. Dre and his recent comments about AI. Artificial Intelligence has become a major debate in the hip-hop world as of late. It is becoming disheartening to see so many legends embrace the technology, which is taking the humanity out of the art. Ultimately, the fans are deciding whether or not these AI songs are worth their time.
