“I wanted to go back to my roots and what inspires me about being from Miami; the culture and the music and the environment shaped me to be who I am today,” Yung Miami said. “This album is about everything I’ve been through and pulling myself out of survival mode to get back to a space to create. I’m definitely going there, but also having fun. I surprise myself whenever I listen to it; I cry, I dance, I’m actually gagging myself. I really created an album! People are about to eat their words.”
"People are about to eat their words," is a strong statement. It just speaks to the frustrations Yung Miami has gone through over the past few years. People have had a lot to say about her, yet she is still kicking and thriving.
