Young Thug recently spoke to the youth in Macon, Georgia, and some of his advice is beginning to go viral for the wrong reasons.

Young Thug is currently going viral thanks to some advice he gave to students in Macon, Georgia. The artist was invited to speak to the students at an assembly of sorts, and the crux of his lecture is one that can certainly be argued with.

Thugger is an extremely successful artist. He has been through a lot during his career, and he has built one of the biggest and most dedicated fan bases in hip-hop. With that in mind, you'd think he'd tell the kids to work hard and persevere. While that may have been part of his speech, the rapper ended up focusing on something novel that is almost impossible for every single person on earth to achieve.

He stated that regardless of what your career is, being famous is the most important thing. In fact, he believes it is more important than being rich.

Young Thug Tells The Youth About Fame

To be charitable, you could say that he simply means fame can be a bridge to success. Fame opens more doors and allows you to make more business deals. However, the issue with that is fame is hard to come by, and there is no amount of hard work that will change that.

Furthermore, there are only very specific fields that make you famous. Sports and entertainment are the two big ones. That said, there aren't a ton of famous teachers, bankers, or engineers out there. With that in mind, it can be said that this focus on fame might not be what the youth needed to hear.

Regardless of what the advice was, it is nice to see Young Thug giving back in this way. The artist continues to show that he hasn't forgotten his roots in Georgia.
