Ray Daniels and Wayno traded words online recently.

From executive to viral talking head, Ray Daniels’ transition to media personality has been effective. His supposed insight into the alleged JAŸ-Z album only intensified the spotlight once Roc Nation themselves denied it existed, and that ultimately came with blowback. Since then, Daniels has practically been discrediting any and every media personality that downplayed his claims about Hov.

This includes Charlamagne Tha God and anyone who has ties to him, including Wayno. Earlier this month, Wayno Clark had incredibly strong views on Ray Daniels' reporting, which led Daniels to ultimately clap back. Daniels essentially claimed that because Wayno had a deal with Charlamagne Tha God’s network, he was compromised as well. Ray Daniels' angle has been that people in the media are being fed information that they should say, whereas he’s providing people the unadulterated truth.

Ray Daniels Responds To Wayno

However, Wayno wasn’t having it. In a YouTube video, Wayno made it clear that he feels that Ray Daniels doesn’t know what he’s talking about while affirming that he doesn’t care about the industry. He also explained that he’s been grieving the loss of his mother throughout the online kerfuffle.

In the video’s aftermath, Ray Daniels jumped on a call with Akademiks during his livestream when he admitted that he was out of pocket for his comments. He offered a public apology after saying he apologized privately before. He also admitted that his comments did downplay Wayno’s success and hard work. Still, Daniels said that he wished Wayno had reached out to him privately to sort out their issues, rather than take them to the internet. Check his response below and sound off with your thoughts in the comment section below.
