Last July, reports surfaced that 50 Cent owed Baton Rouge rapper Webbie $1 million over a boxing match, in which Webbie's guy Terence Crawford knocked out 50's Yuriorkis Gamboa. Since, 50 hasn't paid, and Webbie wasn't happy about it--until now.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is the producer of, as well as a recurring cast member in, the Starz TV show "Power". Last night, 50 tweeted that "Power" will return on June 6, including a short trailer for the upcoming season, and the quote: "Empires are built on POWER". Joe Budden soon quoted 50's tweet, following with "They petty lol". Joe was apparently referencing the quote at the end of the trailer, "It only starts a war if they know you did it," but 50 initially took Joe's tweet as a diss, and quickly responded with, "what you say bitch!!"

This week we’re seeing a new entry with G-Unit’s The Beast Is G-Unit EP hitting the charts. Although it moved under 20k opening week, we doubt the Unit is too upset. 50 Cent had mentioned in a previous interview that the whole reason they kicked off their reunion with EPs was to relieve some of the pressure of dropping an album, and it not doing numbers—basically, it’s easier to start with EPs and work their way towards that album that’ll have a big opening week.

They original members of the crew (aka no Kidd Kidd) did stop by The Breakfast Club this morning for some last minute promotion, and expect an HNHH interview with the Unit to arrive later today as well.

Over the last year, 50 Cent has been more active in the music game than he's been in quite some time, yet we still have yet to hear his consistently delayed studio album, Street King Immortal. In an interview with MTV, Fif spoke of one song that will appear on the project that will be unlike anything we've heard from him over his last stretch of releases-- a collaboration with Eminem.

It's still been under a year since G-Unit officially reunited, but we've already been given a healthy serving of new material from the iconic crew. First off, we got a collection of freestyles, followed by The Beauty Of Independence EP, but the Unit still have one more short release before they put out any kind of full length.

Fabolous took his career to the next level when he signed with Def Jam in 2006, but we've just learned that he could've opted to go a very different route. In a new interview with Hot 97, Loso reveals that he rejected an offer from G-Unit around the same time.  When asked by Ebro if he thinks he's made any mistakes with his brand, Fab responded:

50 Cent has been through so much beef, you could probably dedicate a book to the fights he has picked. Throughout his career, he has never been shy to give his honest opinion about fellow rappers. He has mastered the art of the diss song and pretty much wears the crown for being the king at feuding. His moves to out battle his rivals have been smart, conniving and sometimes just plain deep.

It’s like I didn’t see none of you dudes rooting to try to get G-Unit back together when we were not together.”

G-Unit grace that cover. This isn't the first time we've seen rappers speak up against violence in their music, so we've gathered several examples from recent times as well as the past in this list.
