Young Thug sits down for an interview out in France, and speaks on his upcoming album "Hy!£UN35" as well as working with Kanye West.

Young Thug made his way overseas recently, and he touched down in Parisian land aka Kanye's fave place aka France, for the very first time to perform at the Rock en Seine festival. This performance precedes his upcoming headlining tour, which stays safely within the confines of the U.S.

For all his European fans though, Thugger did an interview with a French website, LesInRocks, where he spoke on visiting France for the first time, and his anticipated debut album Hy!£UN35, and more.

When asked about his "premier album" (debut album), and what will be different this time around compared to his mixtapes, Thug referenced the influence two heavy-hitters, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar.

The rapper basically said he'll be taking more time to create full-fledged songs and not just quick records he typically puts on a mixtape. He also says he'll be giving the album a dose of Kendrick Lamar, and a dose of J. Cole, and "that kind of stuff." Before the interviewer could ask a follow-up question, Thug took it upon himself to say, "because I know your next question will be about the producers, I'll just tell you: I'm always with London On Da Track, Wheezy, 808 Mafia, Mike WiLL Made It, Ricky Racks..."

And for those wondering on a release date, it sounds pretty tentative: "I hope that it finally drops this year."

In the interview, Thug was also asked about Kanye West and their relationship. As we reported on awhile ago, Yeezy reportedly told Young Thug he wants to do an album with him. Thug says that the reach-out from Kanye came after he heard "Danny Glover" leak, and he was loving it.

It looks like he finally locked in some time with Yeezus, as Thug told the French outlet, "We met up finally and recorded a few songs together." He went on to say that the two just need some time to get everything together-- while he's not sure what Ye is thinking exactly, he thinks it's time to drop some of the stuff they did together.

We'll keep you posted on those collaborations.
