We come bearing gifts. Disney has released today the official trailer for their live-action adaptation of "Beauty & The Beast" starring Emma Watson as Belle (The Beauty), and Dan Evans of "Downton Abbey" as The Beast.
The trailer does a phenomenal job evoking the iconic imagery of the 1991 cartoon version, which became the first animated feature film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
Aside from Emma Watson in the lead role, there are other exciting castings to report. Kevin Kline will be playing the role of Belle's father Maurice, Ewan McGregor will be playing Lumière, Ian McKellen is Cogsworth, Emma Thompson is Mrs. Potts, and Josh Gad will be voicing Le Fou.
