Tyler, The Creator is many things - artist, designer, rapper, model, entrepreneur and probably more. Although he's spotted hanging with the likes of a lot of celebrities his age, he has a small crew that he considers his mains that consist of Lionel Boyce (writing partner), Wyatt Navarro, Taco and Jasper Dolphin (Odd Future members).
“We don’t dress the same. We don’t listen to all the same music. We have different opinions for shit—that’s why I love them,” Tyler told Fast Company. “We’ll be on each other’s team during the zombie apocalypse.”
As a token of his love for the gang, Tyler gifted each homie with a chain that rocks a custom daisy charm, all inspired by his 2017 tape, Flower Boy. Each chain has a different colour, while Tyler's chain has all colors representing each individual friend.
Tyler's Flower Boy was nominated for a Grammy last year and the tape was certified gold by the RIAA. “A lot of these songs on this album were songs people didn’t take,” Tyler previously said of the tacks, listing beats that were meant for Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and more. “I think that because it came out and it works, I can now be like, ‘Hey, pop artist. I just want to produce. I can write a cool little melody. Let’s do it.’ No one’s called yet but that’s all I wanna do.”
