One of two new songs from Ty.

Ty Dolla $ign's "Message In A Bottle" is one of two new songs from the L.A. singer today. The tracks come in advance of his sophomore album Beach House 3, which follows his two groundbreaking mixtapes (and EP) under the same title. "Message In A Bottle" feels somewhat out of step from the last few singles from the project, namely because it's the first time we've heard a solo record from Ty in some time. With full control of the song, Ty sounds completely in his element as he delivers a ballad soundtracked by acoustic guitar arpeggios and adventurous rising and falling melodies. The artwork shows an unlabeled bottle that bears a striking resemblance to Ty (and fellow Taylor Gang member Wiz Khalifa's) drink of choice Bombay Sapphire, playing into the woozy, late-night feel of the intimate track.

The 20-track album is due out October 27th and is currently available for pre-order. "Message In A Bottle" follows the previously-released singles  "Love U Better," with The-Dream and Lil Wayne, and "So Am I," a collaboration with Damien Marley and Skrillex. It has been released alongside "Dawsin's Breek," a track which pairs him with another prolific R&B songwriter in Jeremih.

Earlier this year, Ty confirmed that both Future and Pharrell would appear on the album. "The beauty of Beach House 3 is this time you will get to see exactly what it is with me," he said of the project. "You can see who Ty Dolla Sign is. I put out a lot of songs and all that, but I never let people into my life." Swae Lee, YG, and Mike WiLL Made It will also contribute to the album.

Quotable Lyrics:
'Bout to get high enough to make my ears pop
It's too strong for that Ziploc
They like, "You gon' get us kicked out"
Seen the huge stones in my wrist watch
