Barring The Weeknd's Starboy and any late-year surprises, we don't seem to have a whole lot coming on the release calendar as fall settles in. Gucci Mane's Woptober, Anderson .Paak and Knxledge's Yes Lawd! under their Nxworries title, and D.R.A.M.'s debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M. are all coming later this month, but compared to the summer we just had, that's small potatoes. Personally I don't mind because I still need time to digest some of the amazing projects we've gotten in the past three months, but I am still hoping for some more November/December surprises.
Leading our Top Tracks appearances this week are Kanye West and Tory Lanez with two entries apiece, though Tory's are both solo cuts. New tracks barely missing the cut include Jeezy and Bankroll Fresh's "All There" (#11), SpaceGhostPurrp and A$AP Rocky's "RIP Yams" (#12), Lil Yachty and Gucci Mane's "Bentley Coupe" (#13), and The Game's "What Your Life Like" (#14).
10. The Weeknd - False Alarm
The Weeknd's second Starboy single lacks the power of a Daft Punk assist, but it still proved almost as popular as its predecessor, hanging on for another week on the Top Ten ("Starboy" landed at #6 on its second week). With the album still about a month and a half away, expect to hear at least one more track from it before the November 25th drop date. In its second week out, "False Alarm" falls nine spots from #1 to #10.
9. Tory Lanez - Blue Jay Season
The first of two T. Lanez joints on our list this week, "Blue Jay Season" celebrates his hometown baseball team, who were up 2-0 against the Texas Rangers at the time of this song's release, and just won the series last night. This tracks debuts at #9.
8. Beanie Sigel - I'm Coming (Meek Mill Diss)
This Philly vet hasn't been in our Top Ten in a long, long time (if he ever even has), but thanks to a high-profile, intra-city beef, he's enjoying more coverage than he has in 15 years. Meek and The Game have both been quiet for the past few weeks, but Beans joined the fray with "I'm Coming," the first of two Meek disses he's released thus far. It debuts at #8.
7. Mac Miller Feat. Anderson .Paak - Dang!
Once again, we've got two tracks that dropped in the same week in July still popping up on our Top Tracks week after week. Mac Miller and Anderson .Paak's "Dang!" hasn't made the cut every week, sometimes dropping into the low teens, but it's always managed to find a way back in. On its eleventh week out, it rises three spots from #10 to #7.
6. DJ Khaled Feat. Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Future, August Alsina, Jeremih & Rick Ross - Do You Mind
And here's the other, more impressive eleven-week wonder. DJ Khaled's Usher update "Do You Mind" hasn't been Major Key's best performing single on the charts thus far (that title goes to the Drake-assisted "For Free"), but on HNHH, it's far and away his biggest song to date. In its eleventh week out, it rises two places from #8 to #6.
5. A$AP Mob Feat. A$AP Rocky, A$AP Twelvyy & Key! - Crazy Brazy
With some Frank Ocean-referencing artwork and a key (no pun intended) assist from a criminally underrated ATL rapper, A$AP Mob's latest got one of the highest user ratings of the week with 92%. This is a good sign for the crew's upcoming tape, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, which should be dropping shortly. In its second week out, "Crazy Brazy" moves up seven places from #12 to #5.
4. YFN Lucci Feat. 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne - Key To The Streets (Remix)
Other than the two eleven-week flukes on here, YFN Lucci's latest track is the longest-tenured Top Track of the week, staying on here for four weeks straight. Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have both enjoyed several tracks in the Top Ten this year, but for Lucci, this is huge. In its fourth week out, the "Key To The Streets" remix goes up one place from #5 to #4.
3. Kanye West Feat. Young Thug - Famous (Alternate/Original)
The only bit of Young Thug we ended up hearing on The Life Of Pablo was a minimal feature on "Highlights," but as we've known for a while, they've got plenty more songs in the vault. This one's a rougher alternate version of the Rihanna, Swizz Beatz, Sister Nancy, and Nina Simone-assisted "Famous," although only the latter shows up on this version. The "Famous" alternate debuts at #3.
2. Tory Lanez - Radar
Lanez's second track on this week's list actually arrived courtesy of DJ Spinking's new tape For The Culture, and to date, it's by far the most successful cut off of there, at least in terms of chart performance. Fargo's got lots of loyal fans on HNHH, and they showed up yet again for this one. "Radar" debuts at #2.
1. Kid Cudi Feat. Kanye West - Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now (Demo)
The second demo or unfinished track Kanye showed up on last week, this rough cut of a Satellite Flight track, was met with a ton of fervor thanks to its opportune timing of arriving just after Ye and Kid Cudi's recent spat. With Cudi now taking responsibility for his comments and attempting to treat his depression, hopefully these two will be able to make up and give us more music together. This "Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now" demo debuts at #1.
