This week, it was reported that Lauren Braxton passed away suddenly after suffering from a heart condition. It is still unclear whether she was previously diagnosed with a heart problem or if it was only discovered after her death. Lauren, who also went as LoLo, was Toni and Tamar Braxton's niece. While she was not a prominent member of their Family Values reality show, LoLo was close with all of her aunts, hitting the red carpet with Toni on a few separate occasions. The entertainer took some time to gather her thoughts but today, she spoke out about the tragic passing of her niece, reacting publicly on Instagram.
Sharing a photo of the two of them together, Toni said that she is shocked about Lauren's death. "R.I.P to my amazing niece Lauren 'Lo Lo' Braxton," she wrote. "I’m still in disbelief and so very heartbroken. Love you...always auntie 'Te Te.'"

Toni's sister Towanda also remembered her niece, writing her own message on a childhood photo of Lauren. "Lauren Kristine Braxton....Umba loves you so much! You were a beautiful loving angel on earth...now you are a beautiful angel in heaven."
The untimely passing of Lauren Braxton will continue to be felt within the Braxton family for years. Rest in peace LoLo.
