The hype for upcoming The Walking Dead episodes is astonishing considering its been on the air for 9 seasons, 4 of which under Fear the Walking Dead story arc. Several members of the cast debuted a teaser for the upcoming season at San Diego Comic Con for those in attendance. Now the rest of us have been brought to speed. The trailer is out and god forbid one character/actor sure looks like he's being written out of the script. I won't say who, it's fairly evident once you watch the trailer, and I want to leave you the choice of going in unfettered.
In season 4's midseason finale, viewers were left in utter shock as one of the original cast members was essentially killed off, leaving many observers to question what direction the series was headed. Forced to endure the trek without the leader, the group awakens to find the forces of nature have grown even more disruptive, and as always: a few walkers or zombies try to spoil their fun.
The characters killed off in order to legitimize the zombie threat have been replaced to some degree. Jenna Elfman, Garret Dillahunt, and Maggie Grace have all joined the cast for the upcoming season to fill the void. Fear the Walking Dead returns to AMC on August 12.
