6ix9ine says the fan was trying to recreate when XXXTentacion was knocked out on stage.

Over the course of the year, Tekashi 6ix9ine has generated a lot of buzz. The Brooklyn rapper has been screaming about his status as the “King of New York” for months and he’s not entirely wrong. The young artist has gone nine for nine on the Billboard charts, including his most recent “BEBE” song being his first (and only) all-Spanish track to chart. With so much notoriety, you know that people are going to try to come for you. Earlier in the year, he was kidnapped and nearly killed and during his trip to Russia, he was almost jumped by a fan on stage before his security rushed in, laying out the man

Tekashi offered an explanation as to why his team started going after the fan, insisting that he doesn't just attack random people. "You remember the video when n---as ran on stage when [XXXTentacion] was performing and they tried to knock him out? Well, the n---a tried to do some bozo shit like that," explained the rainbow-haired rapper. He is referring to an incident that occurred during a performance of the song "Revenge" when a fan ran up on him and punched him in the face. From the looks of the video, it looks like the fan was looking for that same type of infamy.

I think it's fair to say that he deserved the beatdown he got after putting Tekashi in harm's way. Check out the artist's explanation below and watch the video of the attack here.
