It could be argued: Solange Knowles is doing the most "Houston" than any other artist in the game. Like Travis Scott, she doesn't exactly live in the city the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) calls home. While she might spend of her time, quiet as kept with her budding family nucleus, in New Orleans, something rather obvious about When I Get Home, screams HOUSTON! at the highest decibel.

One of the strange but lively concoctions, included on When I Get Home, is Solange's collaboration with fellow free spirits: The-Dream and Playboi Carti. Solange's nod to sipping barre is purposedly discombobulated to evoke new "pantomime" strokes within Houston traditions of old. Carti is fortunate enough to share a verse with the songstress, whereas The-Dream goes at it alone on the refrain. In fairness, "Alemna" runs its course like one longwinded syrupy refrain, which is exactly where and how Solange found her "sweet spot" on A Seat at the Table.

Quotable Lyrics:

Pour more drank, drank
Sip, sip, sip, sip, sip
For the lack on 'em
Sip, sip, sip, sip, sip
Brown liquor, brown liquor
Brown skin, brown face
Brown leather, brown sugar
Brown leaves, brown keys
Brown zippers, brown face.

- Solange
