ScHoolboy season is upon us.

ScHoolboy Q's long-awaited album has finally manifested into somewhat of a reality. With the affable yet formidable rapper taking a self-imposed sideline session last year, many fans have been damn-near ravenous for that Blank Face followup. As it happens, Q appears to be ready to grant some wishes. Taking to Instagram to kick off the rollout, Q posted up a hype-inducing messages: "2 more days."

Given the fact that he's referring to a Thursday, it seems likely that Q will be dropping off the album's first single, as new tracks tend to drop on Thursdays as a general practice. The idea that Q would roll through with a full-fledged surprise album on such short notice feels slightly unrealistic, despite the increasingly normalized nature of the spontaneous drop. Either way, new ScHoolboy music is always a good thing, and it likely indicates the long-awaited album is set to arrive in the imminent future.

Of course, there's always a chance he's alluding to Zacari's own Run Wild Run Free, on which he very well might be involved. After all, that EP does drop on Friday, and it wouldn't be surprising to see a single set the process off. Still, Q knows what his fans have been seeking, and he wouldn't play with our minds like that...would he?
