This past Saturday, to close out episode 24 of OVO Sound Radio, OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib dropped a major exclusive from PartyNextDoor, Jeremih, and Lil Wayne. A radio rip of the collaboration, entitled "Like Dat," soon appeared on the site, and despite the shoddy sound quality, most everyone went ape shit over the track's wicked potential. PND has now provided the CDQ, and wow...DJs better cue this one up for the peak hours tonight. "Like Dat" is produced by the Niagara sensation known as Murda Beatz, who began working with Migos and is now a go-to beatman for OVO.
It was originally assumed that "Like Dat" was the first taste of Late Night Party, PND and Jeremih's upcoming joint album, which was announced a few weeks ago by Jeremih. However, Party is listed as the lead artist on the track, so perhaps it's reserved for his upcoming solo album, P3. Wherever it lands, it's sounding like a surefire hit. The naughty club banger is a welcome follow-up to the soft and pretty "Come and See Me," which recently got a new video starring Kylie Jenner.
