After announcing its release a couple days, Nav just came through and released his new album Reckless, featuring guest appearances from Travis Scott, Quavo, Lil Uzi Vert & Gunna. Having already heard records like "Wanted You,” & “Freshman List,” one of the records that’s quickly gaining traction already is the collab with Travis Scott called “Champion,” which we’re highlighting for y’all right here.
Over production from Foreign Teck & OZ, Nav & LaFlame deliver a bouncy & braggadocios, auto-tune laced record that finds them rapping about being “champions” just as the title depicts. “We got the trophy like a champion, fell asleep right on the jet we on/ Big rings just like a champion, No TSA hop on a jet we gone,” they croon on the hook. It serves as the follow up to the two’s latest hit “Beibs In The Trap,” which has gone platinum.
