The Elephant Graveyard way.

The core roles for the forthcoming Lion King live action remake have been cast, but Migos still want their piece of the action. When rumors first started flying about the possibility of this remake, the internet soon offered up the North Atlanta-bred as fitting choice for the film’s bumbling hyena antagonists.

Now, the rap group, though they may be a little too late, have voiced their interest as Quavo let out a tweet, writing, “3 Hyenas Lions King. Call us @Disney.” As it turns out the hyenas have already been cast, with the roles being filled by some considerable star power.

With the evil triumvirate’s names having been changed from Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed to Shenzi, Azizi, and Kamari, it is Eric Andre, Florence Kasumba, and Keegan-Michael Key who have been pegged as the talent set to portray the hyenas.

The film is set to debut in the Summer of 2019, and hopefully Migos find some way of getting involved without putting anyone out of a job. It may be time to hit up Hans Zimmer and see if he needs any help with the film’s score. You know, for the culture and all that.
