Megan Fox denies feeling preyed upon by director Michael Bay, following her viral "Bad Boys II" clip.

While we've seen a resurgence in Megan Fox news these days, for a starlet who was pretty much not a thought in any of our minds, thanks to a newly-established fling with none other than Machine Gun Kelly. The two previously fanned the romantic flame with Fox's appearance in MGK's new music video, however they seemingly confirmed their relationship beyond the video when they were seen holding hands and kissing in public.

Nonetheless, Megan Fox's most recent viral moment actually comes from an old clip that a twitter user decided to dig up, and it proceeded to spread far and wide. This has become a frequent occurrence, leading to retroactive cancellations of certain public figures-- Jimmy Kimmel is experiencing this exact cancel culture right now, too.

Funnily enough, Megan Fox's resurfaced moment also involves Kimmel. The late-night talk show host was talking with Fox when she shares a story about appearing in Michael Bay's Bad Boys 2 film at 15-years old and being highly sexualized, to which Kimmel chuckled.

Now, Fox has jumped in to help offer some clarity to the situation as well as re-focus the attention. Taking to Instagram, Fox wrote:

"While I greatly appreciate the outpouring of support, I do feel I need to clarify some of the details as they have been lost in the retelling of the events and cast a sinister shadow that doesn’t really, in my opinion, belong. At least not where it’s currently being projected..."

She continued to go on to address a rumor that she was forced to wash Michael Bay's cars as part of her audition for Transformers, "I was around 15 or 16 years old when I was an extra in Bad Boys II. There are multiple interviews where I shared the anecdote of being chosen for the scene and the conversations that took place surrounding it. I did 'work' (me pretending to know how to hold a wrench) on one of Michael's Ferraris during one of the audition scenes. It was at the Platinum Dunes studio parking lot, there were several other crew members and employees present and I was at no point undressed or anything similar. So far as this audition particular story I was not underaged at the time and I was not made to 'wash' or work on someone's car in a way that was extraneous from the material in the actual script."

"Please hear me when I thank you for your support, but these specific instances were inconsequential in a long and arduous journey along which I have endured some genuinely harrowing experiences in a ruthlessly misogynistic industry."
