The 24th episode of OVO Sound Radio is currently streaming live on Beats 1 radio. Right at 6pm, listeners were tuned into Waking at Dawn, the new album from young OVO signee Roy Woods, and the album was played out in its entirety. The special guest of tonight's episode is the one and only Noah "40" Shebib, the co-founder of OVO and the executive producer of Drake's VIEWS and just about every other project he's put out. OVO 40 is indeed as special as any guest that the Apple Music radio show has recruited, so hopefully he'll have some exclusives in store for tonight's episode. Perhaps from P3, PartyNextDoor's upcoming album? That's the next project on OVO's release schedule, and expectations are high for Party's first album in two years.
The exclusive that everyone is wishing for -- likely to no avail -- is a Drake track in response to Joe Budden's diss track against him, "Making a Murderer," which dropped two days ago. That's not much time to prep a response, but if anyone can do it, it's Drake and 40. Budden's diss was a strong effort, though that's not to say it obviously warrants a response. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. Drizzy could be mulling over his decision right now. Regardless of if he drops an Internet-breaking diss track or not, 40 will undoubtedly put together a helluva mix.
