The Roots deliver yet another dope year filled with incredible music.

Every year, the Roots round of some of the hottest names in music and put them on a stage for the annual Roots Picnic. They've expanded their Philadelphia festival in a major way since its inception and every year it gets bigger and bigger with some of the hottest artists getting together to deliver a memorable festival for those in attendance. 2018 marks the 11 year anniversary of the festival and this year, they've definitely outdone themselves.

This year's edition of roots Picnic will feature a star studded group of entertainers. They've tapped Dave Chappelle as the host for the evening with performances by Lil Uzi Vert, The Diplomats, 2 Chainz, 6lack, dvsn, Rapsody, a joint set from Rich The Kid and Jay Critch, Goldlink and more. In addition to that, Black Thought and J. Period's mixtape session with Fabolous and Jadakiss. DJ Drama will also host a "Gangsta Grillz" set filled with guest performances.

The festival grounds will host much more than music though. They've also included a podcast stage which will feature live tapings from Drink Champs, On One With Angela Rye, Questlove Supreme, ItsTheReal and the Realest Podcast Ever. They'll also have a lifestyle stage which will host a Madden and NBA 2K tournament as well as a panel.

The festival is set to take place on June 2nd at Philadelphia's Festival Pier.
