Lil Uzi Vert is back, in tape form.

Lil Uzi has been keeping busy all throughout the year, and his breakout single "XO Tour Life" continues to solidify itself as one of 2017's biggest tracks. Not only that, but Lil Uzi's anticipated album Luv Is Rage 2 dropped back in August, and has already proven to be the young rapper's most ambitious work to date. With songs like "The Way Life Is," "Neon Guts," and The Weeknd-assisted "UnFazed," Luv Is Rage 2 is pretty much jam packed with melodic, bubbly trap. In fact, Lil Uzi has been pretty prolific this year, with a new song dropping seemingly every month. Just this morning, the young rapper linked up with Nav for the brand new "Wanted You," which you can check out by hitting the link below.

Now, Lil Uzi has made an announcement that will certainly please his extensive demographic of "hipster" fans. Apparently, a special, limited edition of Luv Is Rage 2 is set to drop exclusively at Urban Outfitters, and get this - it's a cassette tape. Lil Uzi isn't the first rapper to capitalize on the whole "cassette tape" renaissance, and he probably won't be the last. Still, this niche edition of Luv Is Rage 2 does feature four new songs, titled "Skirr Skirr," "Loaded," "Diamonds All On My Wrist," and "20 Min." So, if you're interested in catching some of these new Lil Uzi joints, you might have to schedule a trip down to Urban Outfitters.

The tape is slated for release on December 8th. As of now, it's unclear whether or not the cassette edition's bonus tracks will be available on all major streaming services. If not, those who do actually own a cassette player will have to let us know how they sound. What are your thoughts on this move from Lil Uzi? Will you be checking for this?
