Lil Skies is one of the most underrated artists out there. He has a huge following but he has yet to truly break out into the mainstream. For some reason, something hasn't caught on with the masses. However, it feels like it's only a matter of time before more people start to take notice. It's not like Lil Skies is a small name. He had a great year and he's looking to grow even further in 2019. He's definitely somebody to keep an eye on and his last two songs only prove that.

Near the end of last year, Skies came through with "Opps Want Me Dead," which impressed many of his naysayers. Today, he comes through with "Real Ties." The rapper has released a music video to accompany the new track, which was produced by E-Trou and Taz Taylor. The young artist speaks on loyalty in the new song, praising his clique for sticking by him and deeming it "no surprise" that they have.
This is just the latest addition to Skies' growing body of work. Skies is somebody that you should keep an eye on in 2019. When/if he drops the follow-up to Life of a Dark Rose, we should be in for something special.
