Lil Baby & Marlo drop off their latest visuals.

Earlier in the month, Lil Baby and Marlo teamed up to drop off their collaborative 2 The Hard Way effort, and are now delivering on the visuals to accompany the project’s intro track of the same name. Directed by Keemotion, the video features the southern rappers as they vacillate between counting cash and flexing from rooftops in their own stomping grounds as they duo swaps off on detailing about outrunning their rough pasts.

“Gambling in the hallway / Shootouts in broad day,” Lil Baby rings out on the cut’s intro. “But I gotta make it home tonight / For my dog if he wrong or right.”

Previously, we heard another track from the 2 The Hard Way project, “Set Up Shop,” a collaboration between the two artists and Young Thug, a frequent collaborator and longtime friend of Lil Baby’s as the two came up together in the same area and schools. Lil Baby’s association and cosign from artists like Thug, Gucci Mane, and backing from Coach K and Pee of the Quality Control imprint have him poised to be one of the next voices to break out of Atlanta’s rap scene.

During a conversation with us this summer, however, Lil Baby revealed his reluctance to paint himself as the ‘next big thing, opting to maintain humility and do the work.

“Me personally, I don’t feel like that but everybody who I’m talking to that’s their response. They say ‘you next, you gonna be the next one, you gonna be big,’ but me, I’m a very humble guy. Like, it take a lot to make me feel myself I just go in like very humble.I never told nobody I’m gonna be next, but I will say I’m goin’ at they neck,” he noted.
