Ever since Kanye's meltdown during the "Saint Pablo" tour, where he criticized both Jay-Z and Beyonce, rumor was that there had been a rift brewing between them for quite some time.
However, Blue Ivy might have helped mend things over between her famous parents and Kanye. Over the weekend, the newly blonde-and-pink-maned rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian attended Blue Ivy's fifth birthday party at the Carters’ crib in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles. According to gossip site X17, the couple showed up wearing understated baggy clothes and left the kids -- Saint and North -- back at home.
Back in October though, Kanye had admonished Jay-Z for not seeming too concerned about Kim K following the Paris robbery. Then in November, he pointed the finger at Beyonce, saying she manipulated the 2016 MTV Awards in her favor to win the video of the Year award.
“Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over 'Hotline Bling,” the rapper had said.
Sources claim Jay-Z considers Kanye a "nut job" and wants to spend as little time possible in his vicinity. A mental breakdown forced Kanye's hospitalization in November.
