Top Dawg Entertainment had a phenomenal run last year, with Kendrick Lamar's DAMN and SZA's CTRL enjoying critical and commercial success, including several nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards. Now, two weeks deep into 2018, it seems as if TDE has no intention on easing up on the momentum. Recently, it was reported that Kendrick Lamar and his label would be executive producing the soundtrack for Marvel's Black Panther, which is already looking like a box office juggernaut. Last week, Kendrick already dropped off the album's first single "All The Stars," which featured SZA. Now, another track from Black Panther is set to drop at midnight, and it looks like a potential banger.

The song is called "King's Dead," and it features the combination of Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and Future. With a new Jay Rock album all but confirmed, it's cool to see one of TDE's most underrated getting a well-deserved moment in the spotlight. The song is officially a Jay Rock track, with Kenny and Future holding it down as featured artists. Perhaps it might serve as a hint on Jay Rock's potential sonic direction, but either way, it's an undeniably exciting combination. It's unclear whether or not the track will also appear on the aforementioned Jay Rock album.

"King's Dead" has been officially premiered on The Breakfast Club, and the official stream will follow at midnight Eastern time. However, it stands to reason that a radio rip might be floating around, so if you're feeling resourceful, consider trying your luck.
