Hip Hop Reacts To The Philando Castile Killing

Less than 24 hours after police officers shot and killed 37-year-old black man Alton Sterling on Baton Rouge, LA, a Minnesota cop fatally shot 32-year-old Phlando Castile, also a black man, at at traffic stop on Wednesday night.

Castile's girlfriend, Lavish Reynolds, posted a live streaming video to Facebook depicting Castile sitting in his car with several gunshot wounds. Reynolds alleges that Castile informed the officer he was registered to carry a licensed firearm and reached to grab his license and registration when officers opened fire. A 4-year-old child was in the backseat.
