"I just think it’d be interesting."

Ed Sheeran thinks he and Drake have a lot of similarities but also a lot of differences and because of this, he thinks they could collaborate really well. The "Shape Of You" singer recently caught up with Entertainment Weekly and chatted about his hopes to link up with Drizzy to make music. " I feel like at some point, me and Drake need to do something, I feel like that has to happen at some point," he tells the publication.

When asked how it hasn't happened yet, Ed explains how he's always on tour, as well as Drake, but says "at some point those two worlds have to meet."

"I don’t know how or what it sounds like, but I feel like it’s inevitable… I’ve only met him a couple of times," he adds. "I don’t even know if it’s in the cards. I’d like to think he has the same mindset as me." He ends the interview explaining how it won't be the "end of my world" if the collab doesn't happen "but I just think it’d be interesting."

We'll see if Drake takes Ed up on his offer to hit up the studio.
