Earlier this week, it was announced that model, actress, and Diddy's former girlfriend Kim Porter passed away in her Los Angles home.
Porter and Diddy dated for 13 years sharing four children: 11-year-old twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie James, 20-year old son Christian Combs, and Porter's 27-year-old son Quincy from a previous relationship with Al B. Sure!. When news of Porter's passing was announced, there was an outpouring of condolences from the models' peers and fans. Rihanna wrote, "We lost a real one today, beautiful inside and out. So many will be affected by this, some won’t even know why...but the whole world was graced by the vibrance in your spirit." Celebrating Porter's kind and entrepreneurial spirit, Janelle Monae wrote, "I am forever indebted to you. When the headlines talk about you I pray they talk about the platform your company gave new and up and coming artists in Atlanta."

Amidst the tragic news, Diddy's and former girlfriend Cassie were photographed together in Los Angeles this past Friday in Diddy's first appearance since Porter was d eclared dead. A source revealed to E! News that "Cassie reached out to Diddy, sending him a text message checking up on him and expressing her condolences." Diddy was purportedly "pleasantly surprised" by the gesture, and "very touched by her thoughtful text."
