Chronic Law is up there with the Koffee's and the Shenseea's of the world, in claiming the open spots in Dancehall's upper echelon. Hailing from the same St. Thomas parish as OVO's Popcaan and Jah Cure, Chronic Law has made noticeable strides since unveiling his debut project. As is often the case with Dancehall talent of the like, Chronic Law was able to propel himself forward without the promise of a full-length project.

By aligning himself with the right producers along the way, Chronic has appeared on some of the more prominent riddim packs to come out in recent months - including his recent placement on the "Lifestyle" SupaMixx assembled by RedBoom. To give you a fair idea of how momentous an occasion this is for a young upstart like Chronic Law: the SupaMixx also boasts contributions from Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul, and Demarco, to name a few.

"I've been working hard to make it in the music biz for a while now, and I'm ready to take my career to the next level," Chronic Law told the Jamaica Observer on the eve of his last 6IXTape offering. The Lifestyle riddim is but one of the many things that have come to define "dubplate" culture in the modern age. Chronic Law is one to watch, you've been put on notice.
