This past fall, Childish Gambino toured for his supposed last tour under his musical moniker Childish Gambino. Loving fans (like myself) everywhere were saddened by the news, soaking up every moment during his stadium performance, knowing deep down that CG wouldn't be gone forever.
Google Pixel 3's latest commercial now sees Donald Glover dancing alongside his Playmoji character and the soundtrack happens to be an unreleased, never before heard song by the "Freaks and Geeks" rapper. Considering that Google labeled the video a "Childish Gambino Playmoji" instead of a "Donald Glover Playmoji" probably means there's more where this snippet of music came from - or I'm just being really hopeful.

“There’s nothing worst than like a third sequel, like a third movie and we’re like, ‘again?’” Childish previously stated when discussing his reason to retire Childish Gambino. “You know, I like it when something’s good and when it comes back there’s a reason to come back, there’s a reason to do that.”
Childish most recently made Grammy history becoming the first artist to win "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year" for a hip-hop song, "This Is America."
