A case of plagiarism? You be the judge.

Tekashi 6ix9ine jumped on Instagram this Afternoon previewing a song he had in the works with Murda Beatz, and to be honest, people were generally happy with what they heard. Yet it only took a few hours for controversy to permeate the air surrounding his excitement. Producer ChaseTheMoney fired off a series of tweets alleging the rapper and his producer stole songwriting elements from a track he wrote for ZMoney & Valee entitled Two 16s, which itself had a video release in December of 2017.

ChaseTheMoney resorted to Twitter where put aside legal restitution and called for war, telling Tekashi 6ix9ine he wanted all the smoke, and motioning to Murda Beatz to pay homage. Incidentally, I left out the expletive language he used which only adds to his fervor. Chase subsequently deleted his posts and has been mum ever since.

Never the less, users on Reddit are in the midst of debating the legitimacy of Chase's allegations. A case for Tekashi biting songwriting elements from "Two 16s" is mildly plausible if you zero in on Valee's verse in the second half of the song, whereas Reddit users are suggesting Murda Beatz' production is also relatively similar, but that isn't the main sticking point. See for yourselves:
