Cardi B teamed up with Tom Ford to put her name on a nice cobalt blue lipstick, making the perfect beauty collaboration. The release of the shade came just a few days after Cardi stunned in an all-black Tom Ford dress and sat front row at the Spring/Summer preview. Monday brings about great news for the "I Like It" rapper since her lipstick has officially already sold out.
We're not sure if the boost in sales for the lipstick had anything to do with her weekend brawl with Nicki Minaj, but nonetheless, this success in Cardi's first venture in the makeup market is something to be proud of - another money move.
"People put this pressure on me and these expectations on me and trying to compare me to other women, and it’s like, ‘I never asked for that shit. I never asked for that shit.’ I came into this game trying to make money, make music and go on my way," Cardi previously stated. "A lot of people want to tear me down because they want to put me up there, and I never asked to be put up here.”
