Cardi B's looks to the past for her upcoming project.

When Cardi B's "Money" dropped, many wondered whether Bardi was getting ready to drop off her sophomore album. Now, it has been revealed that the rapper will be releasing a collection of B-sides, or "bonus tracks," from the Invasion Of Privacy sessions.

“The plan was always to drop a, like, bonus. But I just didn’t [think] I was going to be so busy doing back-and-forth, back-and-forth things after I gave birth," reveals Cardi. "It’s like, oh my God, like, my schedule is so flooded. Maybe in December or just maybe January. I don’t know. It’s just songs that I felt were really good songs that didn’t make the album.” Clearly, "Money" was among them, though one has to wonder what kept it off Invasion Of Privacy in the first place.

Either way, it's safe to assume that Cardi's studio sessions proved fruitful, and the young mother will be doling out the spoils accordingly. Though "bonus" discs can be hit-or-miss, it's entirely possible that Cardi let a gem or two slip through her golden-gloved fingers. "Money" feels like it could be a standalone single, though it does seem to operate primarily within Cardi's comfort zone. Who knows what the other tracks might sound like?

One thing is for sure. There will be no Nicki Minaj diss tracks among them. "My music was never about that," she explains. I have a short temper, so that’s like doing things that I don’t stand for. I don’t like when people be subbing me. So why would I subbing you on music? And any problem that I have, I always address people face-to-face. I don’t care. It’s whatever the energy’s like. I don’t care.”

Peep the full interview below, and stay tuned for Cardi's upcoming batch of "bonus tracks," arriving at some point this winter.
