Big K.R.I.T. is currently out on a promo run for his recently-released album 4Eva Is A Mighty Long Time, which debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 this week with 33,000 units sold. Having already visited various media publications across the land, including our very own HNHH HQ’s for a sit down interview last week (see below), Krizzle decided to make his way by the Power 106 radio station in Los Angeles this week and bless the listeners on air to an LA Leakers freestyle.
Going in for nearly 6-minutes of straight heat, which looks to be off the top, Drizzle delivers another sharp-tongued, braggadocios freestyle that finds him riding the various beats perfectly, dropping more slick metaphoric bars about his money, hoes, & come up in the game, among other things. “Niggas counted me out but I still multiplied my worth, Maximize that purse, Goyard or Hermes whatever she want first, Only way I fall off if no gravity on Earth,” he spits. “Oh your album flopped? here’s a tissue/ There aint enough streams that I could wish you to get that budget back/ Oh, cause once you in the red you can’t fade to black/ Cause you aint Jay and aint no Blue Print to pay it back,” he adds.
As previously mentioned, the freestyle surfaces just a week after K.R.I.T dropped off his latest album 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time, which featured guest appearances from T.I., UGK, CeeLo Green, as well as production by Mannie Fresh, Hey DJ, and DJ Khalil.
If you have an appreciation for freestyles and/or lyrical wordplay, than this near-6 minute onslaught from Big K.R.I.T is a must watch for fans. This shit flames y'all.
