Big K.R.I.T., the veteran rapper who has made appearances on a couple of decent tracks over the last few months, but he hasn't put out any new music recently where he's the main name on the marquee. However, for fans of his who have been craving some new material from him may not have to wait much longer for that situation to turn around.
Posting to his official Instagram account, K.R.I.T. shared a video of him jamming in the studio to the beat of a unreleased track, alongside producers 8Ball & MJG. The booming bass and the nice little piano touches over top of it make the instrumental sound beefy and give it a kind of presence that we've been lacking from some of the songs Big K.R.I.T. has been featured on lately. As is typical with these types of videos, there is no other specific information concerning release dates and/or a tracklist to digest at this time, but just the fact that the emcee is working with a dynamic producing duo on some fresh material is enough to turn your mood into an optimistic one.
A recent standout in Big K.R.I.T.'s recent discography has to be "Outrageous," his collaboration with Dizzy Wright. Throw in another co-sign with B.O.B. and the Mississippi native have a strong foundation on which he can continue to build up his legacy for the rest of 2017.
