The late Lil Peep has stayed in the minds of many members of the hip-hop community since his untimely passing last year. With many of his friends and collaborators speaking out since he passed away, Peep's catalog seems to be even more extensive than it was once believed. The late star was working on a lot when he left us and some of those tracks are making their way into the world through posthumous releases. While his go-to producer Smokeasac has confirmed that he is working with Peep's estate to release a sequel to his project Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 1, we may be hearing the first step to the new album.
After his team released "4 Gold Chains" in May and Marshmello used Peep's vocals for "Spotlight," the previously unreleased "Sex With My Ex" has made its way onto streaming services. Although the song has not been promoted by Lil Peep's social media accounts, which are operated by his estate, fans of the artist will be ecstatic to see new music from him on all major streaming services. The track is believed to have production from frequent collaborator Smokeasac and while he has not confirmed his involvement on the song, he seemed surprised to hear it had been released on Peep's official YouTube page.
Hopefully, this was not leaked against his estate's will. Considering it made its way onto streaming, it's likely this was their choice.
