This season of Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, has revealed a certain level of discontent over at So So Def. The once fabled record label was instrumental in jump starting the careers of several big names including Da Brat, Xscape, Jagged Edge, and to a lesser degree Shad Moss aka Bow Wow.
Tonight's telecast opens with Da Brat in conversation with Jermaine Dupri as she questions Bow Wow's loyalty towards them. She gripes:
"(Bow Wow) is going to different record labels. To me, that's kind of like a slap in the face. That's not loyalty. When the chips are down, you stick with your fucking people."
This isn't the first time that Da Brat has taken issue with Bow Wow in recent years. During last season's Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, Da Brat was critical of Bow Wow for going over Jermaine Dupri's head. Bow Wow had apparently leaked new material on his social media before receiving the OK from Dupri, prompting Da Brat to comment publicly.
Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta is set to air Tonight at 9 pm Eastern Time on WE tv.
