Congrats to G Herbo and his family!

Chicago rapper G Herbo has raised his profile in 2017, dropping his debut album Humble Beast to critical acclaim (including a shout out from Danny Brown over the storytelling "Malcolm). However, the most memorable moment of Herbo's year may very well have nothing to do with music. The young rapper recently took to Instagram to announce the impending birth of his new baby, sharing a heartfelt post and picture of he and his girlfriend: "MY BABY HAVING MY BABY❤️.. YOU KNOW WHEN LIFE BE REAL & YOU BE REALLY LOST FOR WORDS SO A CAPTION BE THE LAST THING YOU TRYNA FIGURE OUT... SHIT IS REAL!!! I LOVE YOU ❤️ @therealkylesister"

Herbo's girlfriend Ariana Fletcher shared her own announcement along with some video from what appears to be a baby shower. ""Super extremely over the top blessed. I couldn't ask for a better man to start a family with and live the rest of my life with. All our family and friends who came today are really happy for us and it makes me feel so good to know that we have genuine love around us. Couple more months and my baby will be here getting flooded in love. And Daddy got me a new range, fully loaded 😜💙."

Either way, the positive vibes are evident, and it's awesome to see Herbo and Fletcher in such a happy place. As for the due date, Fletcher's post implies the baby will be coming in "a couple of months." As for the gender, it would appear that they still aren't sure, but if the "guns or glitter" baked goods are any indication, they're okay with either. It's interesting to see that romance has been blossoming in the hip-hop game lately, with Gucci Mane's televised wedding, Offset's public proposal, Joe Budden's baby shower, and now Herbo's. Once again, much congratulations to G Herbo and his expanding family. And be sure to go stream his album, Humble Beast. You won't regret it.
