DaDa Supreme Spinners returning in 2018.

Former NBA star Latrell Sprewell has confirmed what you've all been patiently waiting for: the DaDa Supreme Spinners are making a comeback in 2018.

Sprewell's iconic sneakers, which featured spinning rims on the sides, first released in the early 2000s and instantly became a cult classic. He hinted at a retro earlier this year during an appearance on Kevin Garnett’s Area 21 show, but last night he took to twitter to confirm that the DaDa Supreme Spinners will be hitting retailers sometime next year.

Sprewell retired from the NBA after the 2004-05 season as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, having played 13 seasons in the NBA. He was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1992 and spent his first six seasons with the team, including three All-Star appearances, before being traded to the New York Knicks.

While the DaDa Supreme Spinners originally launched in 2001, Sprewell wore them later in his career as well, including during a 2004 playoff game when he was balling with the Timberwolves.

DaDa also made a signature shoe for Chris Webber called the "DaDa CDubbz," which they re-released in 2013 in limited quantities. It's unclear how much the Spinners will retail for or how many will be made, but judging from the instant response on social media they figure to be a fairly popular release for nostalgia purposes.

It's been a long time since Sprewell's DaDa Spinners were around, check out some more photos of the classic shoes below.
