Mac Miller's 2012 project Macadelic, previously available as a free download, has now been remastered and released on iTunes and major streaming services. The tape was re-released in its new form on Friday, which Mac announced in a tweet.

The 2012 project marks the transition from what some described as "frat-rap" on Mac's Blue Slide Park to the more experimental ground covered on 2013's Watching Movies With The Sound Off. It features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Juicy J, Cam'ron, Lil Wayne, and Sir Michael Rocks. Not yet producing himself as Larry Fisherman, Mac recruited the talents of I.D. Labs, Clams Casino, Cardo, Lex Luger, and more across the 17 tracks. The release follows the streaming and iTunes reissue of Mac's Best Day Ever tape, released as a 5-year anniversary edition in 2016. It is unlikely we will see a similar release of K.I.D.S., a popular tape from the rapper that suffered a lawsuit over a Lord Finesse sample in "Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza," despite being released for free.

Mac released his fourth studio album The Divine Feminine in 2016. He has yet to reveal plans for his follow-up. We recently tracked his moves since his last album release in our "Where Is Mac Miller?" feature.
