Vic Mensa and Valee are here for the Dim Sum.

Dim Sum is never a bad thing. Apparently, the opinion is shared by both Vic Mensa and Valee, who have united for a new banger. "Dim Sum," which features production from Apex Martin, Cubeatz, and Mike Dean, employs a vaguely Asian sounding flute melody over a minimalist 808 arrangement. The result is a strange and quietly hypnotic instrumental, and while you might find yourself expecting an intense drop, the trifecta keeps it restrained throughout. It's the perfect backdrop for both Vic and Valee to tear shit up, and the former sets it off with some refined braggadocio.

"I don't usually rap bout the shit I got," he spits, "you a hater for a living that's a shitty job, I just made two mill I don't Milly Rock."  Valee closes thing off with a solid verse; the Good Job, You Found Me rapper's laid back, free-flowing style is a nice contrast to Vic's sharper lyrical direction.

Quotable Lyrics

Me and Valee got the city hot
Valee the DB11 at Diddy's spot
I don't usually rap 'bout the shit I got
You a hater for a living, that's a shitty job
I just made 2 mil, I don't milly rock
