For a group that has dominated the pop charts for years, Maroon 5 have certainly amassed a decent repertoire of hip-hop collaborations. The band have already landed collaborations with Kanye West, Gucci Mane, Kendrick Lamar, Future, SZA, Wiz Khalifa, and A$AP Rocky - that's more than some rappers. Now, they've once again joined forces with an emcee, tapping A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for the "Wait Remix." The original was first heard on their latest album, Red Pill Blues. Now, the remix has surfaced in select international markets, and will be available for worldwide streaming tonight.
It's a good look for A Boogie, who dropped off his excellent debut The Bigger Artist last year. On this remix, the rapper spits lines like "wait, can we work this out? I’ve been thinking out loud all day, don’t let me down, can’t live without my bae."
