Kodak Black and XXXTENTACION are the most controversial faces out of Broward County's bubbling rap scene. From their legal troubles to their public personas, they have much more in common than expected. Which made a lot of sense as to why the two of them joined forces for summer 2017 highlight "Roll In Peace" where they both address some of the legal issues they've faced. Today, they drop off the official video for the song.
X may not make an official appearance in the video, he still makes his presence felt in the video. Kodak Black's visuals for "Roll In Peace" feature the rapper in a church pew before the video cuts to footage of him in a court room. Before X's verse comes in, the video cuts to Snapchat footage of X's recent court appearance in December while a voice clip from him asking his followers to come to court date comes up.
The song may be a few months old at this point but they definitely did a great job at bringing the song to life.
