N.E.R.D Preview New Album At ComplexCon

This year, N.E.R.D, composed of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley, closed out Day 1 of ComplexCon with a listening party of epic proportions.

With anticipation building around the trio’s return with their No_One Ever Really Dies album, they decided to gift attendees with an extremely special performance of the whole project from top to bottom.

"The album’s not coming out tomorrow," Pharrell told the crowd. "We’re giving it to you. It’s yours. You got it before everybody else."

The result is an 11-track effort with guest features from some of the industry’s best. These include Rihanna, featured on the previously-released “Lemon,” Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, and Future just to name a few.

The last time N.E.R.D released music as an entity was in 2010 with their fourth studio album Nothing. So, excitement is an understatement for the general sentiment brewing around the group’s official reappearance in the spotlight.
