NxWorries drops off the first song off their "Yes Lawd!" remix album.

Back in April, the duo of rapper/vocalist Anderson .Paak & producer Knxwledge, decided to drop off “Paid In Full,” an 80's-themed video that looked like something straight outta GTA Vice City. At the end of the video however, the two decided to switch things up and deliver a reworked rendition of “Best One,” a standout track from their album Yes Lawd! Well it turns out that NxWorries is releasing a remix version of the Yes Lawd! album, set to drop November 17th, but before it arrives the duo decide to unleash the full version of their “Best One” remix.

Leaving the lyrics intact, the original soulful production gets a smooth & amed up makeover from producer Knxwledge. As before, the song is about Anderson’s ode to an unknown woman who took him in temporarily while he was homeless. However it just now has a reworked instrumental over it instead, but its still dope nonetheless.

The last we heard from the duo prior to the “Scared Money” video was back in January when they dropped off the video for “Sidepiece.” A couple months before that (in October) they treated fans to their debut album Yes Lawd!, so it’s not everyday we get something new from Anderson & Knxwledge.

Take a listen to the re-worked remix and let us know what you think! Better or worse than the original version?

Yes Lawd! remix album drops November 17th, with vinyls becoming available on "Black Friday" November 24. Stay tuned.

Quotable Lyrics:

You love me like you know I could be leaving in a moment's notice
You telling me to stay until the morning
You know a nigga homeless
You give me everything inside the showroom
Your old school trophies
You used to work the small forward
Now you working corporate, dipping in a sports whip
