Ludacris is one of the most talented emcees in the game. So talented in fact, that despite his venture into the acting world, he'll always be remembered for his lyricism and impact in hip hop. Over the past few years, he's been scarce with his music releases like most veterans are. I mean, what does Luda have to prove in the rap game at this point of his career? Nonetheless, whenever he drops new music, it's always a good sign. Last night, he dropped the single "Vices" and a day later, he brings the accompanying visuals to the table.

The video for "Vices" follows Ludacris through a pretty crazy evening. It starts off with him in the hotel room surrounded by two beautiful women, indulging into his vices. The video ends up following him to his show and later to the after party at the club. Ludacris is seen with another person wearing a huge Ludacris mascot head as he rides around from the hotel room to the show with him. It taps into the same creativity he had in his earlier videos. In the duration of the video, the visuals get more blurry, mimicking the effects that alcohol and drugs have with one's vision. The visuals have a great way of matching the song as well. Hopefully this is an indication of new music on the way.

During the red carpet at the VMA's, he was asked about what he thought about people suggesting his music career is "dead." He said that is far from the truth and by the time you're at his level in the game, it's better to take your time with the music. It seems he's been cooking something up and if "Vices" is an indication of what any upcoming project will sound like, we'll definitely be receiving some fire from Luda.
