Oakland singer Keyshia Cole has released her latest album, the eleven track 11:11 Reset, which marks her first drop on new label Epic Records. However, Cole has been in the game for a minute now, and 11:11 marks her seventh album. Still, Keyshia still has a lot to say, and clearly her fans are digging the message. As of now, Cole's newest effort has already managed to climb the Itunes charts, climbing into the Top 10 Overall and holding the R&B/Soul charts on lockdown.

While this album is largely catered toward fans with an inclination toward R&B, Keyshia brings a few guests from the hip-hop game to hold it down. DJ Khaled (because why wouldn't he?), Young Thug, Remy Ma, French Montana, Kamaiyah, and Too $hort come through for guest appearances, but a distinguished vet like Cole is more than capable of carrying a project on the merit of her stellar voice. However, Thug's contribution to "Act Right" is a welcome addition from the Super Slimey emcee, who is no stranger to crafting melodically dense flows. As it stands, "Act Right" is one of the album's highlights, with its mournful, atmospheric trap-soul. The same goes for "You," which finds both Remy and French spitting bars over some chopped up vocal samples.

If you're looking some a chill alternate to Future and Young Thug's Super Slimey album, you might be well served to spend some time with Keyshia Cole's 11:11 Reset. In the immortal words of DJ Khaled, who handles the album's introductory ceremonies:

"They wanna finish you, they want you broke
They want you miserable, they want you unhappy
That will never happenWe the greatest ever, We the greatest ever
It's a process for progress
I respect those that weather the storm
We weather any storm
We gon' continue climbing the mountaintop
More wounds, more success, more blessings"

Would you really want to disappoint DJ Khaled? Go bump this, live.
