However, Kid Cudi confirmed collaborations with Travis Scott and Young Thug on his next project.

Playboi Carti won’t clear a feature for Kid Cudi. The “Day N Nite” hitmaker recently took to Twitter where he opened up about the status of “Solo Dolo IV,” which he initially teased last year. The fourth installment in his song series was expected to land on Cudder’s next album, which he claimed is due out this fall. “He wont clear it which is very weak,” Cudi tweeted about Playboi Carti. “So yea it wont be on there. Which is ok becuz the shit I have on this album fuckin smacks and ur faces will melt.”

Cudi initially debuted the song at a Paris tour date in November where he confirmed Carti’s appearance on the record. Apparently, things have changed since and for the time being, “Solo Dolo IV” will remain in the vault. However, Playboi Carti and Kid Cudi have formed a strong relationship over the years. The Cleveland rapper appeared on “M3tamorphosis” from Whole Lotta Red as one of the few guest appearances on the album. The two also connected on the remix of “Pissy Pamper,” which was unofficially titled “Kid Cudi,” although it never made the final tracklist of Carti’s album.

Who Else Will Appear On Kid Cudi’s Album?

Kid Cudi explained that his forthcoming album will drop this fall, serving as his follow-up to 2022’s Entergalactic project. Right before addressing the collaboration with Playboi Carti, Cudi seemingly confirmed two other features on the project: Travis Scott and Young Thug. Although some fans suspected that Lil Yachty could appear on the project, as well, Kid Cudi seemingly confirmed that wasn’t true.

Kid Cudi's next single, "The Chosen One" is due out on June 2nd. He previously revealed that his next album will mark his final project under his current deal. However, he admitted that he wasn’t entirely sure what his move would be after the release of his next project. Still, he revealed that he’ll be heading on a world tour in support of his next album. We’ll keep you posted on any further updates on Kid Cudi’s upcoming project. Are you excited to hear new music from Cudder?
